Rudraksha is a divine bead that has mystical powers and proven medicinal properties. Rudraksha beads have electromagnetic properties naturally that affect the human body positively when worn on the skin. Rudraksha beads resonate at about 350 MHz, which is close to the frequency band of human body resonant absorption. History of Rudraksha

Rudraksha means the eye of Rudra (Shiva) and is considered to be the most potent manifestation of the cosmic force. The Rudraksha tree is botanically known as Elaeocarpus Ganitrusroxb. Its English name is Utrasum bead tree. Rudraksha trees are mainly found in these places:

• Around 70% of the Rudraksha trees are found in Indonesia
• 25% in Nepal
• and 5% in India

Rudraksha beads have clefts on the surface. The number of faces / clefts / mukhis on the surface of a Rudraksha beads helps identify the Rudraksha. Usually, the Rudraksha bead ranges from single face to a several faced beads. Each face / mukhi has different ruling Gods and deities and different powers. The benefits and the power of the bead differs based on this.

Rudraksha is synonymous with spirituality and Asian monks have traditionally worn Rudraksha. Merely wearing this bead is known to have given them astonishing power; tranquillity and concentration that helped them meditate for a long period of time. It also helped them exercise spectacular control over their mind.
